The CPR is an extraordinary set of computerized patients’ records. Among other functions, it provides an easy-to-use, cost-effective means to gather a truly comprehensive medical history and document a truly comprehensive physical examination. Its suitability ranges from a solo practitioner with a single workstation to a small group with a LAN to a large MSO with an SQL-network.
The CPR consists of the following, five applications:
A computer-assisted, comprehensive medical history that is traditional in format; yet, contemporary in function. Hx® is based upon a two-step gathering and documenting of data. The first step is initial data-entry by a medical receptionist, nurse, or physician’s assistant. The second step is completion by the physician, whose attention is directed to reported abnormalities. The final, clinical record is stored in a database. Patients can receive a copy of the completed history for their own, personal records with the click of a button.
Computer-assisted documentation of a truly comprehensive physical examination. Like the medical history, Px® is based upon a two-step procedure. The first step is an initial assessment with data-entry by a nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant. The second step is completion by the physician, whose attention is directed to abnormal findings. The final, clinical record is stored in a database. Patients can receive a copy of the completed physical examination for their own, personal records with the click of a button.
Computer-assisted documentation of clinical progress notes using the familiar Subjective-Objective-Assessment-Plan (S.O.A.P.) format. It augments those traditional, qualitative notes with simple and quick, quantitative ratings that can be graphed with the click of a button and allow for database queries. LifeMAX® offers separate versions for inpatient and outpatient documentation.
Computer-assisted documentation of inpatient nursing notes using the familiar Subjective-Objective-Assessment-Plan (S.O.A.P.) format. It augments those traditional, qualitative notes with simple and quick, quantitative ratings that can be graphed with the click of a button and allow for database queries.
Computer-assisted documentation of the standard mental examination. Mx® is completed by the examining psychiatrist. It eliminates the possibility of neglecting questions and omitting entries and allows completion in less time than dictation.
All LifeMAX® CPR applications contain LifeMAXiQ™, which monitors entries for inadvertent errors; for example, it checks spelling and grammar to provide consistent formatting. The CPR also contains a variety of other utilities to protect against technical problems, such as loss of data.
